- increased policy fee from $50 to $60
- reduced compensation on 20 and 30 yr term by 5%
- increased rates for amounts above $2,000,000
- created a new band for amounts of $50,000 to
$99,000
West Coast Life
- increased rates on Focus Term Series
- increased policy fees to $60
- reduced compensation on 20 yr term by 5%
AXA Equitable
- Discontinued Term Series 149 and term 30
- Discontinued 20,25 and 30 year Return Of Premium
Term.
- Term Series 150 introduced providing lower priced
10 and 20 year term
- Careful-Chargebacks in the first 24 months on
Athena Products
John Hancock
- increasing Protection UL-G rates from 3 to 5%
depending on age of client. (changes will take
effective July 13. To receive lower rates,
applications must be in the home office by July
31st)
ING
- increasing the pricing of their individual
Guaranteed UL (GDBUL) a much as 15%
- discontinuing their Survivorship no lapse UL
Product (GDB SUL) (these changes will be effective
August 1)

Term
The Income
Replacement Termproduct in which the death benefit
is paid in increments rather than in a lump sum. For
Example, if your client earns $250,000 per year and
wants to continue income for the family in the even of
his death for 10 years. He can purchase $2,500,000 of
income replacement term and the family would receive
$250,000 pear year for 10 years. This is a great
